White Zombie

White Zombie was an American rock band named after the 1932 film of the same name, which starred Bla Lugosi._Based in New York White Zombie is known for their later heavy metal-oriented sound, with lyrics heavily influenced by horror films. Songs by White Zombie include "More Human Than Human."

The group officially disbanded in 1998 shortly after the release of singer Rob Zombie's solo album Hellbilly Deluxe. Rob Zombie went on to release numerous solo albums and worked in film as director of "House of a Thousand Corpses," and "The Devil's Rejects."
