Human Abstract, The

The Human Abstract is a progressive metal band influenced by metalcore and neo-classical metal. They hail from Los Angeles, California. The band's name references a poem of the same title by William Blake.

After numerous demos the band was signed and they released their debut album Nocturne on Hopeless Records in August 2006. The Human Abstract has toured with bands such as: All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Shai Hulud, The Bled, Goatwhore, Protest the Hero, and The Devil Wears Prada, amongst others. Their three albums include The Human Abstract, Nocturne and Midheaven.
