Nile

Nile is an American death metal band from Greenville, South Carolina. Their music and lyrics are inspired by ancient Egyptian mysticism, history, art, as well as stories by H.P. Lovecraft. Nile's interest in Egyptology extends to the intricate and lengthy sleeve notes in albums Black Seeds of Vengeance, In Their Darkened Shrines, Annihilation of the Wicked.

Nile has performed at Ozzfest alongside bands such as Suicide Silence, The Faceless, and Warbringer. Upon their headlining tour Ithyphallic supporting acts included Grave, Ominum Gatherum and Severe Torture. Songs by the band include "Spawn of Uamenti" and "Annihilation of the Wicked."
