Whitesnake

Whitesnake is an English rock band, founded in 1977 by David Coverdale (formerly of Deep Purple). Whitesnake was named the 85th greatest hard rock band of all time by VH1. Whitesnake recorded the EP Snakebite which was released in 1978 and included a cover of a Bobby "Blue" Bland song "Ain't No Love in the Heart of the City," which became the first hit from the band.

Whitesnake officially went on hiatus in 1991. Coverdale recorded the album Coverdale-Page, with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page in 1992. Other songs by the band include "Love Ain't No Stranger," and "Slow an' Easy."
