Dance Gavin Dance

Dance Gavin Dance is a five-piece post-hardcore band from Sacramento, California who formed out of the dissolution of several other bands, including Farewell Unknown, Ghost Runner on Third, Atherton and Five Minute Ride. They released their first self-produced EP in 2006, entitled Whatever I Say Is Royal Ocean through Rise Records.

Dance Gavin Dance has played SXSW, The Bamboozle Tour and the Vans Warped Tours. Aside from a leak prior to the official release of their album Tree Village, the band has enjoyed success, having played alongside acts such as Of Mice & Men, Skylit Drive and Scary Kids Scaring Kids.
