Sid Vicious joined in 1977. Songs by the band include "Anarchy in the UK," "God Save The Queen," "Pretty Vacant," and "Holiday in the Sun."

Although their initial career produced only one album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, the group has been described by the BBC as "the definitive English punk rock band." Bands like the Clash and the Damned got their start opening for the Sex Pistols.
